Access Notes:

  • Weather: Please check and dress for the weather. Depending on the day, this might mean a light jacket, boots, sun hat, sunscreen, etc. If there are thunderstorms or other hazardous weather, the event will move to the same time on the rain date Sunday, June 21st. All tickets purchased will automatically rollover to the rain date.

  • Terrain: The strawberry field at Steelbow Farm is slightly sloped with uneven terrain. The pathways are clearly marked well-maintained for the u-pick. The refreshments and dance tent are located on flat ground a short walk beyond the strawberry field. Seating and tables will be available in the refreshments area.

  • Parking: Parking is available in the grassy area next to the strawberry field. Look for signs to direct you on where to park. Volunteers will be able to assist you when you arrive. Accessible parking is available closer to the dance tent by the Red Barn for those who need it. Email programs@rocksteadyfarm.com to reserve an accessible parking spot and to receive instructions on how to check-in to the event.

  • Water: Please bring a reusable water bottle and help us avoid single use plastic containers. Hydration stations will be available at check-in and in the refreshments area.

  • Food: Sweet treats and baked goods will be available for purchase in addition to the fresh picked strawberries. Please indicate your dietary needs in the questionnaire at checkout.

  • Bathroom: There will be one single-stall accessible port-a-potty and one standard size port-a-potty on site for the event. Hand washing stations are located next to the port-a-potties.

  • Animals: No animals are permitted on the farm except qualified service animals. If you are bringing a service animal, please let us know in the checkout questionnaire and email programs@rocksteadyfarm.com to coordinate for the best possible experience for you and fellow party guests.

  • Sensory Environment: This is a party that will likely be loud and lively. There will be a DJ playing amplified music and dance "floor" on the farm. There may be multiple conversations and background noise happening at once in the strawberry field and refreshments area. The event is spread out over 2 acres so there will be quieter areas to gather for a less stimulating experience. We encourage you to bring a picnic blanket, portable chairs, and/or cushions if you would like a quieter experience on the farm.
