Webatuck Valley Farm Collaborative
The WEBATUCK VALLEY FARM COLLABORATIVE (WVFC) is a regional food sovereignty and farm cooperative development initiative led by Rock Steady Farm, Sweet Freedom Farm, and Wildseed Community Farm and Healing Village.
Rock Steady Farm was one of the founding members of the collaborative in 2023. As the Collaborative has grown, it now has its own dedicated website and Instagram where you can learn more about its mission, programs, partners, and current initiatives.
During 2026 and 2027 the WVFC is building an amazing food hub for our broader community of farmers to utilize. This includes better infrastructure for future and current incubating farms on the 280 acres of land we co-steward. It also supports Rock Steady to scale up our food distribution to lower-income community and our CSA, work year-round in a fully winterized space, aggregate from dozens of farms in our area so they can join the NY State-wide distribution network we co-run, create added value products from what we grow, host workshops and events year round, triple the participants of our Pollinate training program, make our barn more ergonomic and ADA accessible, launch a retail store that sells goods from both RSF and our huge network of QTBIPOC farms and so much more!
To build this hub and cover the start up costs of our new multi-stakeholder cooperative we are raising $15 million. We have already raised $5.7 million!
