FEAST FOR OUR FUTURE
Join us at the farm on October 17th, from 2:00 – 5:30 PM for Rock Steady Farm's annual fundraising dinner, FEAST For Our Future: a celebration of how far we've come and where we're headed next.
FEAST For Our Future is Rock Steady’s annual fundraising dinner for donors and stewards who are looking to connect, strategize, and celebrate with us as we steward our vision of a world in which queer, trans, Black, Indigenous, and global majority farmers are thriving and where everyone in our urban and rural community has access to culturally meaningful food.
We will tour the farm, sharing with you in the beauty of our land and dreaming into our abundant future. We will be nourished by Harana Market, from Chef Chris Mauricio, who will utilize fresh produce from our farm rooted in homestyle flavors and the generous spirit of the Filipino Diaspora. We will sip on elixirs from neighboring farms, with whom we have built kinship and bonds in our 11 years on this land. We will listen to music from DJ BKP and hear melodic words from beautiful, queer visionary artists and entertainers in our community. And, we will hear from people like you - a big thank you to Irene Banning and Kolu Zigbi who will be speaking on behalf of our long-standing donor community about what our work means to them.

The event will take place at Rock Steady Farm, 41 Kaye Road, in Millerton, NY on Saturday, October 17th from 2:00 pm-5:30 pm.

Space is limited; tickets are required for attendance. Ticket prices are on a sliding scale.

COVID-19 Safety: Please stay home if you feel sick, suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19 within the past week, are recovering from COVID-19 and/or live/share indoor space with someone who currently has COVID-19 in order to minimize spread.
Setting, terrain & accessibility:
The event space will be outdoors on a grassy lawn, so please plan accordingly! Please keep in mind the weather for the day and dress appropriately. We recommend sturdy shoes as farm terrain is uneven, and may be uncomfortable to walk over.
There are multiple areas with shade on the land.
We do have ticks in some areas on the farm! We encourage you to do a tick check when you get home. Some other preventative measures include: wearing light colored clothing, long sleeves and pants, or socks over pants.
The farm is not currently wheelchair or mobility aid accessible.
Parking will be about a half mile distance from the event space. Folks can be dropped off closer to the event space if needed to support comfortable entry.
